Ironline Tactics
★★★★☆ 4.3
Ironline Tactics is slow in the best way. Each battle is a puzzle of positioning, terrain, and knowing when to hold instead of push. Units carry over between missions, so a reckless move costs you more than a single fight.
It's not the flashiest game on this list, but the systems are tight. Supply lines force you to think two turns ahead, and the AI actually punishes lazy formations. There's a satisfying moment in most missions where the plan comes together and the map flips in your favor.
If you want a quick session this isn't it — battles run long. But for a commute or a quiet evening, it's excellent.
