About
Pocket Quest started as a group chat where four friends argued about which mobile RPG deserved the space on our phones. At some point the arguments got long enough that we decided to write them down. That's basically the whole origin story — no big studio, no marketing plan, just people who like games.,We're an independent site. Nobody sends us a script, and we don't run a game through a checklist. Someone on the team installs it, plays for a week or two, and then we sit down and talk about whether it earned our time. If the combat gets boring by hour three, we say so.,How we pick games? We look at what people are actually installing, what looks interesting in the RPG and adventure space, and what our readers ask about in email. We avoid anything built around gambling mechanics — that's just not what we cover. We care about story, progression curves, and whether the controls feel right on a touchscreen.,Everything you read here comes from playing, not from a press release. If we got something wrong, tell us and we'll update the piece.
